Hey I have a 03 Lt-z400, Bike Was Riding Smooth Until The chain popped & I saw small drops of oil coming from near the front sprocket. I removed the front sprocket & saw the my chain put a slight crack into the side casing ( I will upload picture ). Can this be repaired or would I need new bottom end ?

Assuming the clutch shaft isn’t binding from the case being dented, you can degrease it and grind the paint off and try some JB weld. It might hold or at least slow the leak down quite a bit.

Such a common issue that is mostly preventable by good maintenance and a quality case saver. Like said above if clutch is working smoothly, I would clean it up really well and scuff it up a bit and use JB Weld which should stop it and last .
