Started with a GT550 in 1977, added a GT380 in 79. Do to a move I had to sell both in 1980. Bought my next GT550 in 1981, traded it off for a GS550L in 1984. Bought a new (left over 1987) 1400 Intruder that I rode for 154,000 miles and then bought a 1999 1400 in 2002 that I am still riding today although I replaced the engine with a used one in 2014 at 195,000 miles and now have 240,000+ miles on the original frame. In 1990's I bought a couple of DR play dirt bikes that I still have. In 2019 I bought a GS1100K that I rode for a couple of years and a guy came along and offered me almost twice what I paid for it and I sold it.
I am now 73 and have been riding bikes since I was 13 but I don't put the miles on them that I used to.
Over the years I have had a number of different bikes, Yamahas, Hondas and Kawsasakies but I always seem to come back to the Suzukies.
