I’ve got a weird noise that I’m pretty sure is the timing chain. I pulled the tensioner and there are 3 clicks left. Is that about normal or is my chain wore out like I’m thinking?? The noise isn’t bad bad, but it gets louder with rpm, and is more of a clatter than a tap or knock. Any other suggestions to the problem are appreciated!!

I think 3 clicks left is in the normal range. Did you check your valve clearance? Loose piston might make a clattering sound as well.

I haven’t checked valves yet, that’s next on my list. Any clue where I can find a DID chain??
