When i get my Z, im gonna do a few things to it... what would you reccomend? I want to keep it reliable (if it ever was, only time will tell), and under warranty! I probably want nerfs(what kind should i get?) and a pipe. anything else that could help with bottom/midrange power? (mostly trail riding )

Most of the people here have the AC nerfs, www.acracing.com , and are pretty happy with them. I personally am waiting for Graydon Proline's, www.graydonproline.com , to at least see how they are going to look. And as above mentioned, get yourself a pipe, www.trinityracing.com (ahem), filter (Uni or K&N), and jet that baby! BTW, where in SC are you from?

well, as you may or may not know, my dreams of owning a z, or any other quad, were squashed mere weeks away from the time i would have gotten it, because of some stupid law about having to have licensing and under 16 not being able to ride, which of course has been proposed a million and 8 times just with different stipulations and will probably never happen, but you know moms .... ( im 13 ) , we've moved to an apartment for now, so its gonna be even harder to convince mom now, but hopefully within the next 6months we can move somewhere with a few acres of land, anyways, I saw a suzuki commercial a few days ago which once again sparked my interest, its quite depressing lol but my brother will be gettin a truck soon and i have a few friends with quads and land so maybe that will help, i dunno , sorry for the long post, oh, and im in rock hill, sc :)

nah, only about umm, dont know how many miles , but the place i plan on riding to and back is about 2 hour trip trotting on horseback (if anyone can interpret that into normal peoples time lol ) the rest is cow pastures, and i can ride most of them ( that arent occupied lol ) as long as i dont tear em up , but i think i will have plenty of riding areas to keep me busy for awhile

Be sure and lock down your quad in the barn

use very heavy guage chain or cut-resistant cable and lock it to something too heavy to move.

If you live on the bottom floor of the apartment and have a back patio...consider keeping it there under tarp with a large dog tied to it...and lock it to something heavy also.

Put a motion detector light up on the patio where the old bulb fixture is and that will help also!....best thing is to make your quad look like something else under the tarp...put some table legs or wood around it so the wheels do not show.

just some thoughts!

get theft insurance on it if you can afford it....too many jerks wanting to steal stuff!

But, most of all....RIDE IT!
