a slip on is just the muffler or cannister. the full system is the head pipe as well. the head pipe is the beginning of the exhaust coming out of the engine. full systems generally have more HP due to the total design
This is arguable, but, a slip-on works just fine for the Z because it has absolutely no problems releasing exhaust. I can certainly feel the difference in the entire powerband (especially low-end) with my Yoshi comp slip-on. Also, since I'm not a pro rider and only doing aggressive trail riding or fun racing, I did not opt to go with Titanium or carbon fiber. I got a great bang for the buck getting the stanless steel pipe on Ebay. If I ever decide to do engine mods for bigger displacement then I would consider a full pipe.
