So I traded my ole quadrunner 250 for a fairly crappy lt 250r. I've got some aftermarket racing plastics coming next week so for now ima sand it down and repaint and clean. I've spent 4+hrs just sanding the frame, and tommrow i will paint it.:D Now i need some ideas of dyi's and stuff.

Oh, I would powder coat mine but its too much considering all the other money I already got in it lol

From what I've heard most people pay about $3-400 for it done.

Ive been needing to get the cylinder bored out since it had some small scars in it and I want my bike to run top notch so i was gonna get it bored and throw in the big 72mm piston. Dangerous my uncle powder his roll cage for his jeep by getting a propane tank and a big heater in the back yard which was alot cheaper than getting someone to do it, but it take a couple days to heat the entire thing.

Well we just got done moving so now I don't have to leave everything out in the backyard

I didn't have an impact so I wedged the piston to take off a bolt on the clutch side and it broke my piston :(

Well shes tore all back down again, I'm gonna rebuild the top and bottom end, gusset and repaint the frame and repack or replace(depending on the condition) all the bearings in the bike and I need to make it where my pro armor bumper will fit

Naaa the rod and all thats still in great shape, I got all my gaskets in yesterday so I put it all together and it runs alot better but it doesn't feel like power band is as strong in the higher gears, but I rode a good bit today and was just about to make a video until I realized my custom tie rod snapped lol so she'll be sitting again :(

Well right now im waiting on my gasket kit to come in so that i can put my top end back togther. I pulled the head off and honed it a little to get the burnt marks out and i found out it didnt have a reed gasket so that explains the no power at bottom end and i didnt have thrust washers so i bought a pair and threw them up in it, im ready to ride alreadyyyyyy

It's a 39mm bored out to 40.5mm keihin pwk d-slide and that thing runs like a bat outta hell now :D

Discussion starter · #333 ·
Actually I just bought a aftermarket keihin pwk carb off of ebay so hopefully that'll fix the problem

Yeah I had to get that bumper when I saw it, right now I figured out its running real lean which explains the popping and the fatty is discolored from heat so I need a her kit...anyone got one for sale besides ebay

I still haven't found out but ima make a new one cause that turbine pipe is awsome

Discussion starter · #324 ·
ive never repacked that muffler and its clear all the way threw, so i have no clue...good thing that i got a spare
