Hey Im restoring a 87 LT and I need to know where to find the fender support things. I registered on my iPhone so I can't post pics an whatever. Your bikes lookin damn good and the main reason I registered was to tell you how sweet it is. Good luck with it and keep up the good work

Why not 300EX shocks? My uncle put those on his blaster. It lowered it to 2 inches off the ground but it might work on a LT?

Wait, how are you going to split the exhaust on a 2-stroke and still have your same performance??

OH OK! Your talkig about splitting it AFTER the expansion chamber. Duuh. I had a idiot moment there and thought y'all were talkig about splitting it out the jug like how 350X three-wheelers are (first reference I thought of since I ride three wheelers most of the time). But I doubt it would hurt your performance to run to silencers. One would release more exhaust then the other (prolly the one on the side the end of the ec is on)

Oh well. Mainly for looks and hopefully to have that awesome 2 stroke smoke from both left and right lol.
Yea I'm pretty sure it would look extremely badace and if you do it get some pictures of it or a video of it running (mix it rich so it smokes good ya know? Lol) so we can see!!

I'm outa school for another week and bored outa my minds I might try an fab somethin up and see what y'all think. What's the in- and out-openings sizes gotta be?

What do u mean ? Are you going to try and fab up a spliter ?
Ill TRY to find some stuff to be able to. I'm thinking something like a Y pipe but make one side come out straight and then the other side branch off. What side Is the end of the expansion chamber on? How does your silencer attachto it? I know my 87's is on the left hand side and the silencer sleeves overthe end of the e.c. but I don't know how 85-86's are. And I need pipe dimensions too or I might just make one out of what ever I can find just to try it and figure out how it needs to be.

Does anyone know what blue that is ? I am registered on QRHQ.
That 250r is to nice for my liking lol. It's gonna be all trails and hills for me so that would probably get beat up and then it would make me mad lol.
I found that guy on YouTube and if I remember right they said the color of it there. I'll look around for it again and let you know.

All it had was a comment where he said it was automotive paint that he painted it all with and a flex agent to keep the pain on the plastics from cracking. His YouTube Channel is quaddave67.

Well paint can be just as resilient as powder coat if you put a thick layer of clear on it. I think I remember someone telling me that paint is better then powder because it's easier to get scratches out of paint cause you can just buff it a little where as powder it gouges down into the color and you have to take more away to get the scratch out or something like that. Me personally, I'm going to have the same person who painted my dads race car paint my frame and all cause I'm sure they don't have a pepto-bismaul pink and neon green powder coat.

Sweet. Staying with the yellow?

Are you actually Gunnar plate it or just polish the aluminum?

Do you still have the stock R hand break master cylinder? My plunger is seized and the rubber thing got all f'd up and sucked in.

I'm sure youve tried eBay for your seat huh? What about maybe buying pan, foam and cover separately and putting It together your self? It should be cheaper then buying a seat

Actually I posted a wtb thread and got some one offered me one for 25 bucks including shipping! And it's in pretty decent shape. The only problem is that the cap has a ding in it but my cap is done so ima just dothat

im calling today to see how much its gunna cost to get my paint sprayed. i FINALLY!!! got my jug pulled and gunna drop it off this Saturday to get it bored. We are gunna drop off the big bore cylinder for our CR80 too hehe. cant wait to be able to ride!! whats a banjo bolt? i might have some laying around

i also got some pictures up of my motor in my thread. if you wanna go check em out ya know its only a couple clicks away, wink wink nudge nudge

Oh ok! I got a bunch laying around. I dont know if any would fit unless they are universal fit

Too bad I have a 87 with the 5-lug pattern or I'd buy yalls rear rims
